Why we started
Schools sign up for more apps every year, and most of what's written about them comes from the vendors. Teachers end up testing tools in their own time, and school leaders buy systems based on a sales demo. We wanted one place that compares school apps the way an honest colleague would, weaknesses included.
What we cover
We review learning management systems, student information systems, parent communication apps, quiz and assessment tools, classroom management, teacher planners, learning apps and AI tools. Each review covers who the app suits, what it does well, where it falls short, what it costs and how it handles student data. Country pages show what schools can actually buy where they are.
How we work
Every app is scored against the same five criteria: the core job, setup time, cost to a school, privacy and platform support. We check facts against vendors' own pages and say when we couldn't confirm something. Our methodology explains the details.

How we make money
Vendors who ask for a review pay a fee for the reviewer's time. Some links may earn a referral fee, and those links say so. Neither ever buys a higher score, a better verdict or a higher position.
