How it works
Send us your app
Email the app name, website, category and the countries where schools can buy it. The button on this page fills in a template for you.
We confirm the details
We reply with the review fee, the access we need and roughly when the review will start.
We test and write
Once the fee and access are sorted, a reviewer uses the app the way a teacher or school leader would, then writes the review.
You check the facts
Before we publish, we send you our factual findings with a deadline to reply. We fix factual errors and can publish your response alongside the review.
The review fee and access
We charge a fee to cover the reviewer's time. We confirm the amount by email before any work starts, so there are no surprises.
We also need access to the features we review: a demo school, a teacher and student account, or a trial with the same features your customers get. Reviews based only on a sales demo aren't useful to schools, so we don't write them.
What stays independent
- The fee pays for the work. It doesn't buy a better score, a positive verdict or a higher position.
- We score every app with the same methodology, and we have the final say on the verdict.
- If we have a commercial relationship with a vendor, the review page says so.
- Anyone can report a factual error, and we fix it and update the review date.
What to send
- The app name and website
- The category it fits best: AI tools, quizzes and assessment, classroom management, learning apps, learning management, parent communication, student information, teacher planners
- The countries where schools can buy and use it
- Your pricing model, even if prices are quoted
- A demo or trial account with the features you want reviewed
- A contact person who can answer questions during the review
