Eduaide.ai is an AI planning workspace for teachers. You choose a resource type, such as a 5E lesson plan, a graphic organizer, a bingo review game or a set of tiered questions, then give it an objective, a topic, a grade and optionally a standard or a source document. It drafts the resource in an editor where you can revise it, differentiate it and export it. There are no student logins. It is built for K-12 teachers who plan on their own, and for schools that want to buy seats for staff.

Who it’s for

Eduaide suits a teacher who spends Sunday evenings making the paper side of lessons. A Year 6 teacher who needs a Venn diagram organizer, an exit ticket and a review game for Friday’s science lesson can make all three from the same topic in one sitting. It also suits new teachers who want a lesson structure to follow, since many templates are built on named models like 5E or gradual release.

If you want AI tools your students use directly, look elsewhere. MagicSchool and SchoolAI both offer teacher-controlled student spaces, and Eduaide has none. If your main job is levelling texts, Diffit is quicker.

What it does well

The template list is the reason to try it. Eduaide’s facts page lists 120+ templates plus seven assessment templates, and they lean toward things you can print and hand out. Graphic organizers, matching activities, anchor chart outlines, lab material lists and classroom games sit next to the lesson and unit plans. Many AI tools stop at the plan and leave you to make the worksheet yourself.

The forms ask for a learning objective and a topic separately. You can upload a document, paste a website or, on Pro, pull in a YouTube transcript, and the resource builds on that source. A history teacher can upload a primary source and get comprehension questions about that document instead of generic questions on the era.

The workspace has a Differentiate panel for adjusting a resource to different levels, and an Evaluate panel that checks reading level, text complexity and prior knowledge demands before you teach. Erasmus, the built-in assistant, reads the resource you have open, so you can ask it to add an answer key, translate the sheet or merge two resources into one.

Exports are practical. Lesson plans, worksheets and assessments go to Google Docs and Word, assessments go to Google Forms, and everything goes to PDF. Eduaide writes in 29 languages, chosen in settings, on both plans.

Where it falls short

The free plan runs out fast. It gives 24 credits a month, which Eduaide says covers up to 8 resources. A teacher who tries it properly for one week of planning will hit the limit, so treat Free as a trial.

Output needs checking like any AI draft. Generated plans follow their template closely, and a run of 5E plans starts to look the same from week to week. Facts in science and history worksheets need a read before you photocopy 30 of them. Eduaide’s own FAQ tells teachers to review every resource for accuracy and bias.

There is nothing for students. That keeps the privacy picture simple, but it means a school buying Eduaide still needs another tool if it wants students to get AI feedback on their writing. There is also no LMS integration. You export a file and post it yourself.

Pricing

Checked in November 2026, Eduaide Free costs nothing and allows 24 credits a month, up to 8 resources, with a resource aligned to one standard. Eduaide Pro costs $5.99 a month or $49.99 a year, and adds unlimited generations, Erasmus document chat, AI images, YouTube transcript import and alignment to up to five standards. The first Pro payment is refundable within 14 days. School and district licences are priced on request, with volume discounts, training and onboarding options.

Privacy and data

Eduaide says it is a teacher-facing platform, not designed for anyone under 18, and that its terms of service bar students from creating accounts. It says it collects only an email address at sign-up, has no ads, does not sell data and uses anonymous analytics. It says it uses technical controls to stop student data from being entered by accident, and deletes any student personal information it finds.

Eduaide says it does not train its own models and uses OpenAI and Anthropic models, whose API agreements prevent them from training on your inputs or outputs. It runs OpenAI’s moderation model on inputs before generating. Eduaide says it is FERPA and COPPA compliant. Its public pages do not state a hosting location or list security certifications, so ask before a school-wide purchase and use our student data privacy checklist. Keep student names and details out of prompts either way, and set the ground rules in your AI policy.

Verdict

Eduaide is a good, cheap planning tool for teachers who want worksheets, organizers and games as well as lesson plans, and its teacher-only design keeps student data out of the picture. The free tier is too small for regular use, but Pro costs little. Schools that want student-facing AI should pick MagicSchool or SchoolAI, and teachers who mostly level texts will be happier with Diffit.
