CampusCare is the school ERP from Entab Infotech, a company based in New Delhi. Entab says it has served schools since 2000, and it started out selling software that schools installed on their own servers before moving to a hosted service. CampusCare covers admissions, fees and accounts, exams and report cards, attendance, transport, library, and HR and payroll, with a parent and teacher app on top. It is aimed at Indian private schools, especially CBSE schools, and Entab says more than 2,000 schools use it.
Who it’s for
CampusCare suits established private K-12 schools in India with a busy accounts office and a fleet of school buses. A CBSE school in the NCR that collects fees in quarterly instalments, runs twenty bus routes and pays staff with PF and ESI deductions is the kind of customer the product is built around.
For a small school or a new school with a few hundred students, it is likely more system and more contract than you need. Our student information system rankings list lighter options, including Fedena, which publishes its prices, and Teachmint.
What it does well
Entab splits admissions into an enquiry stage, which tracks a family from first call to confirmed interest, and a registration stage, which handles documents and final admission. Fee management supports configurable instalments and online payment. Transport billing links straight to the fee module, so a student who joins a bus route mid-year gets the right charge without anyone re-entering it.
Payroll is a strength for schools that still run it in spreadsheets. Entab says CampusCare calculates salary from attendance and leave, produces monthly payslips, and handles PF, TDS and ESI deductions.
The exam module follows the CBSE pattern and generates progress cards from the marks teachers enter. Transport tracking gives parents a live bus location and arrival estimate, and alerts for delays.
The CampusCare apps bring this to parents. Entab says parents can see attendance, homework, circulars, diary remarks, exam results, fee details and bus location, and pay fees, without calling the school office. Teachers use the app for attendance and homework. Entab’s homepage also lists an AI chatbot for parent and staff questions and an AI tool that looks at attendance and engagement patterns. Ask for a demo of both before you count on them, because the site gives few details.
Where it falls short
Parent app reviews are mixed. The iOS CampusCare app had a 3.7 rating from about 1,300 ratings when we checked in November 2026, with complaints about slow loading, attachments that take a long time to open, and sibling accounts that stopped showing. Parents also sign in with their school’s parent portal address. Give families a short help sheet and test the app on a cheap Android phone before rollout.
Entab sells through demos and quotes, so there is no way to compare its cost with other systems before you talk to sales. Entab now markets its newer version as CampusCare 10X, and older schools may still run earlier versions. Ask which version you will get and whether an upgrade later costs extra.
The website is thin on technical documentation. We could not find a public security page, a list of certifications or a current privacy policy that covers student data.
Pricing
Entab does not publish prices. Its pricing page says the cost depends on the size of the school, the modules you choose and other factors, and it asks schools to request a quote. A 2020 YourStory profile reported that Entab charged per student per month, with contracts usually signed for three to five years. Ask for the per-student rate, the minimum contract length, any annual maintenance charge, and what happens to the price if your enrolment falls. Our guide to the total cost of school software covers the other costs to budget for.
Privacy and data
Entab says CampusCare runs on AWS, with SSL encryption, daily automatic backups, role-based access and audit trails of profile changes. It also describes itself as a Microsoft Gold Partner. It does not name a hosting region or list security certifications such as ISO 27001. The App Store listing links to a privacy policy on campuscare.in, which did not load when we checked. The listing’s privacy label says the developer does not collect any data from the app. Apple does not verify these labels, and the app clearly handles personal data such as fees and attendance.
Entab’s account guidelines for the app say that when a school removes a student’s account, the student’s data is deleted from the app and the school is responsible for keeping its own records. Ask Entab for a data processing agreement that names the hosting region, covers the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, and sets out how you get your data back at the end of the contract. Our student data privacy checklist lists what else to ask.
Verdict
CampusCare is a mature ERP for larger Indian private schools, and its payroll, transport and fee modules handle the daily office work well. The lack of published prices, thin privacy documentation and mixed parent app reviews mean you should run a proper demo and get the data terms in writing. Small schools, and schools that want transparent pricing, should look at Fedena or the other systems on our India page.
